Google co-founder Larry Page is back in the game—but not where you might expect. The billionaire entrepreneur, who has kept a low profile since stepping down from Alphabet in 2019, is reportedly behind a new artificial intelligence startup called Dynatomics. 

And if the reports are accurate, this isn’t just another AI chatbot or research lab. Instead, Page’s latest venture is focused on revolutionizing manufacturing with AI-driven design and production.

While details remain scarce, insiders suggest Dynatomics is developing AI systems that can generate highly optimized product designs, which can then be manufactured directly. The idea behind it is simple. Use AI to streamline the design process, cutting down on inefficiencies and eliminating the need for traditional iterative design methods. 

According to sources, the company is still operating in stealth mode, keeping its breakthroughs under wraps for now.

Key Players and Industry Impact

Page isn’t going at it alone. The startup is reportedly being led by Chris Anderson, the former Chief Technology Officer of Kittyhawk (a now-defunct flying car company backed by Page). With his background in cutting-edge tech, Anderson brings experience in pushing the boundaries of AI and automation—exactly what Dynatomics appears to be aiming for.

The manufacturing sector has long been eyed for AI-driven transformation, but few companies have made major breakthroughs. Dynatomics joins a growing list of AI startups. 

Companies such as Orbital Materials and PhysicsX are exploring AI applications in material discovery and engineering. However, with Page’s involvement, Dynatomics could have the resources and vision to push ahead of the pack.

Talking about the big players. Mira Murati, former OpenAI CTO, also launched her AI company (Thinking Machines Lab) and poached Meta And OpenAI employees.

Interestingly, Page’s renewed focus on AI comes amid reports that both he and fellow Google co-founder Sergey Brin have been more involved with Google’s AI strategy in recent months.
