From websites to marketing assets, Figma’s AI update signals its ambition to become the all-in-one creative platform of the future.
At its Config 2025 event, Figma launched four powerful AI-driven tools—Figma Sites, Figma Make, Figma Buzz, and Figma Draw—marking its most aggressive move yet to rival industry giants like Adobe, Canva, WordPress, Wix, and Replit across design, web development, and marketing.
Figma Sites allows users to build and publish responsive websites using AI, with support for pre-designed templates, transitions, animations, and blog generation. Figma Make enables app prototyping from text prompts or existing designs and includes collaborative editing and code access. Both are available in beta for users with Full seats on paid plans.
Figma Buzz, free during its beta phase, is aimed at marketers, offering bulk content creation from templates and spreadsheets, along with AI-powered image editing. Figma Draw enhances vector editing with features like multi-vector selection, brushes, and pattern fills, competing directly with Adobe Illustrator.
These new AI tools mark a strategic shift for Figma—from a collaborative design platform to a comprehensive creation and deployment ecosystem. With expanded global reach, aggressive pricing, and a strong focus on AI integration, Figma is positioning itself as a strong competitor among the best AI tools, but as a potential leader in the future of design and digital creation.
