Latest WhatsApp Update Brings Call Link Creation Feature

Meta is bringing an exciting new WhatsApp update that allows users to create quick call links for both individual and group chats.

WhatsApp has rapidly introduced multiple new features over the last year compared to previous years of update releases. With the advent of AI in almost every Meta product, WhatsApp is now fully loaded with a Meta AI chatbot to perform impressive tasks using simple textual prompts. The latest reports revealed that a new WhatsApp update is being developed, enabling users to create call links for both group and individual chats.

The new call link creation feature will allow users to create unique call links for people to join without disturbing them. This means the call links are shareable but do not ring the other end user’s phone. Initially, this feature was introduced only to group chats with limited joining capability.

But now, the link creation feature has been extended to individual chats as well, working as a flexible and silent quick-access link to connect over a call. Users can find the new call creation button in the chat attachment menu available in the chat bar. The link can be created for both video and audio calls.
