A Quiet Place Road Ahead Game Uses Phone Mic For Realistic Horror
Date: October 10, 2024
Utter silence is a must to play and win this game as it utilizes users’ phone mic to detect any sounds and attract monsters.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a new movie-inspired game title awaiting launch on 17 October 2024. The gaming world fans are eager to watch this game unfold as it makes the horror experience hyper-realistic. The game demands users to survive in utter silence in the real world as it uses microphones of the gaming device to detect any sounds and attract monsters to them.
The gameplay and storyline are already dramatic enough, and adding to the experience, the sound detection system makes it even more. Just like the famous catchphrase of the movie says, “And if they hear you, they come for you.”
What makes it even more horrifying is that it is a single-player game where users will play as a young woman who must endure a treacherous apocalypse in the midst of interpersonal family conflicts, all while coming to terms with her own inner fears. This means that the character SFX will mostly be feminine, which is clever to enhance the reaction intensity among real users.
Though the microphone detection feature is optional to allow users in crowded or noisy rooms to enjoy a realistic experience, it surely brings a first-ever experience backed by the horror theme. The sensitivity of sound detection will heavily impact how spontaneously the game evolves.
The game publishing company Saber Interactive Franchise has disclosed that the microphone feature does not affect the storyline. It only works towards enhancing the overall gaming experience and making the re-enactment of the critically acclaimed movie as relevant as possible.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will be available to download on major platforms like Steam. It can also be bought and downloaded directly from Saber Interactive Franchise’s official website. Users can also pre-purchase the game title to access additional digital accessories.
