Apple September 12 Event: What to Expect

Finally, the year has passed, and we are only a week away from Apple’s biggest announcements of the year. Yes, the fall is here and so as new iPhones, the time when the most valuable and lovable brand shows off its true power.

Apple has already announced that 12th September is the date for this year’s iPhone launch event. Along with new iPhones the tech giant has lots of surprises in its bags for fans.

Last year when Apple launched iPhone X, it didn't just reveal a new iPhone instead of the company shown the future of the smartphone industry. The bezel-less design with Face ID has changed the dynamics of the smartphone world.

Apple is known as the trendsetter since from the beginning, let see if the company has also planned to amaze everyone once again by taking the industry one step forward into the future. Here we have a list of the big announcement coming on September 12, be the first one to know what’s going to come out at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino on September 12.

Two New iPhones: iPhone X or iPhone XS

The series of rumors and leaks are going for months now about the upcoming iPhones. But, the one rumor that seems to be true is that there will be three new iPhones this year and all will come from the iPhone X family. The two iPhones are rumored to be the next generation iPhone X with additional features and updates.

According to Bloomberg and 9to5Mac, the two iPhone X will be available with a 5.8 inch and 6.5-inch display. Surprisingly these iPhones will be coming with almost the same size as iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus in spite of having a bigger screen.

The rumors also suggest that one or maybe both will be called iPhone XS. However, it is not clear that the bigger and premium variant of iPhone XS will have some additional features or not like the company’s every iPhone model ( iPhone  6S, iPhone 8S and more).

Moreover, according to the reports both the iPhone XS model will be available in Gold color for the buyers.

A Cheaper iPhone X and iPhone SE2

Apart from the next generation of iPhone X, the company is also planning to launch the cheaper version of the same. The recent rumors revealed that there could be one more iPhone with a big display inheriting the features from iPhone X.

However, it may lack some premium giveaways as it will be cheaper than other models. Maybe the sudden drop of iPhone X made the company think about offering the technology at cheaper price. The phone will have Face ID to replace the Touch ID, and it will wear an LCD screen panel instead of expensive OLED to cut down the cost.

Besides, there are also rumors going on that Apple could revive iPhone SE for the users. Some of the experts and researchers believe that the September 12 event may give us iPhone SE2 in order to keep running the affordable range of iPhones.

Apple Watch Series 4?

Waiting for new and upgraded Apple Watch? Me too. Don't worry we will be getting one this year if the rumors were true. The reports and continuous leaks show that Apple could launch Apple Watch Series 4 this year. The upcoming Apple Watch could come with a new design, band pattern and new aesthetics.

Besides, it could have reduced bezel with an OLED display and improved power and battery. Apart from this we also expect the company to launch an upgrade for the WatchOS which is due for a long time now.

A New Affordable Macbook

iPhone is maybe the highlight of the event, but Apple may have some assorted surprises for its fans. If we believe the rumors spotted by Bloomberg earlier this year, the company could launch a Retina MacBook at the event.

The rumors suggest that Apple has been working on an entry-level MacBook that could cost $1000, but won't come with ‘Air’ branding. This leak could be true as Apple needs a cheaper Macbook to enlarge its market across other regions.

Upgraded AirPods

We could also get an enhanced and upgraded version of Apple’s popular AirPods for the fans. Again the rumors and leaks that caught our attention revealed that Apple is working on the new version of the wireless earphones. The new AirPods are expected to more efficient and expensive than the last one.

Besides, the new version will be water-resistant and equipped with new features that will allow the user to interact with Siri just by tapping the earpiece and saying, ‘Hey Siri.’

New iPad and a Mini HomePod

The sources have also mentioned that Apple is working on a redesigned iPad that could be inspired by iPhone X. However, we believe that Apple will not be sharing the new iPad at the September event as it holds a separate event for its iPad launch.

But, you can expect surprises from Apple anytime, so we have to wait for the event to see what happens. Besides, the point of the leak towards the unraveling of a new HomePod, last year received the HomePod so maybe this year we will get another one.

According to the rumors, Apple could introduce a HomePod Mini that the company has been working on for a long time now.

The company could tell the date when the new iOS version will hit the devices and users will get their hands on it.
