Temple Run 2

The 3D endless running video game developed by Imangi Studios doesn’t require any introduction. Running high on the success of Temple Run, Imangi Studios rightly tapped on the gaming market by releasing the Temple Run 2 on App Store on January 17, 2013, and followed by Google Play on January 24. The game was later released on the Windows Phone platform on December 20.

Temple Run 2 is all about running. Run from one arcade to another, slide under the trees, glide between cliffs and keep the cursed idol with you. The more you survive, the better will be your scorecard.

Temple Run 2 is set in a very bright atmosphere, and with its intense and heated environment, Temple Run 2 will keep you on the edge of your seats. Temple Run 2 includes a new set of characters that can earn in-game credits as the game progresses.

To make the Temple Run 2 more gripping, the character in the Temple Run 2 runs faster, that makes the game more fierce. Unlike three monkeys in the first game that followed the character all through the game, Temple Run 2 has a single monstrous monkey named Cuchanck.

In terms of control, Temple Run 2 is quite similar to its predecessor but, the gameplay does involve new terrains and maps. The game is also infused with new obstacles, such as zip-lines, mine tracks, sharper turns, waterfalls, and jets of fire.

Key Features of Temple Run 2

  • Navigate through perilous cliffs
  • Try your best to escape with the cursed idol
  • Don’t forget to get hold of coins and special powers
  • Slide your way in the alluring valley
  • Juggle between the broken bridges and fallen trees

Furthermore, to add more life to the character, new power-ups coupled with green gems are spread all through the running lane of Temple Run 2. The players can collect them or shell out some bucks to add them to their kitty.

Once into the game, you have to swipe the screen from side to side to negotiate corners, while swiping backward or forward will make the character jump or slide. The player will also get regular chances to grab special powers throughout the game. One such power will help you to attract coins for a brief period of time, and that will ultimately provide you with invulnerability.

The player can escape through various methods like zip lines and mine cars. These tricks keep the player absorbing and breaks the monotony of running. This also makes ample ways by which the player can die in the Temple Run 2, from smashing their head on a tree trunk to falling off a cliff, it’s all scary.

Apart from the regular game, the player can also engage in small tasks, which will earn him additional coins. These coins can further help in unlocking different characters and power-ups.

In-app purchases are part of the Temple Run 2 that can help you to buy extra coins and powers. To brag among friends and other players, iOS users can share high scores via the Game Center social network. The game promises to deliver a fantastic experience, along with rich graphics and vibrant colors.
