Lumio Expands Premium TV Lineup: 55-Inch Vision 9 and Vision 7 Editions Launching June 4

Lumio™, the consumer tech brand known for challenging conventional home entertainment, has announced the launch of two new 55-inch smart TVs. The bigger models of Lumio Vision 9 (2026) and Lumio Vision 7 (2026) will officially hit the Indian market from June 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

The new release comes in response to the high customer demand after the recent release of the 65-inch Vision 9 and 43-inch Vision 7.

Tackling the "Slow TV Epidemic" with the Vision 9

The 65-inch Vision 9 was a big hit and sold out rapidly across several key cities earlier this year. To build on that momentum, Lumio is bringing its flagship entertainment experience to a more versatile 55-inch footprint.

The Vision 9 is built to solve the "Slow TV Epidemic" through high-performance hardware. It runs on Lumio’s Boss Performance architecture and is powered by the MediaTek Pentonic 700 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.

For the display, the TV utilizes a QD MiniLED panel featuring Lumio’s EVA technology. Specs include:

• Up to 800 nits peak brightness
• 82% color coverage in Rec. 2020
• Native 4K 144Hz and 1080p 240Hz refresh rates
• Full support for Dolby Vision, VRR, ALLM, and QMS

Audio is equally prioritized, with Dolby Atmos support paired with Lumio’s custom DGS tuning to ensure clear vocals and deep, room-filling sound.

Upgraded Storage and Visuals on the Vision 7

The 55-inch Lumio Vision 7 (2026) brings premium QLED technology into the mix while maintaining consistently fast performance. Driven by the same Boss Performance architecture, the refreshed Vision 7 introduces a major storage upgrade: 64GB of onboard space. This makes it four times larger and twice as fast as the previous generation.

Visuals are bright and vibrant, pushing 400 nits of brightness with best-in-class HDR color coverage (78% in Rec 2020 and 108% in DCI-P3). Like the Vision 9, it includes full support for both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

Smarter, Faster Content Discovery

Both new 55-inch TVs run on TLDR 2.0, Lumio’s proprietary content discovery platform designed to get you watching faster.

There is a dedicated TLDR button on the Minion Remote that enables users to skip the standard menus. The platform enables viewers to immediately discover popular films and TV shows, search the list of suggestions made by the creators or sort the search results by language, genre and streaming platform. Sports enthusiasts can also follow their cricket, football and tennis teams via TLDR.

Looking Ahead: Project Neo

All Lumio Vision TVs and Arc Projectors will be covered with the "Project Neo" update later this year. This software drop, made by Lumio Labs, will enable users to search for TV content via natural conversation on WhatsApp.

Project Neo will also feature a new feature that will bring Instagram into the fold for the first time. When a user shares a Reel showing a movie or a television series, the TV automatically creates a watch card, and they can click it to begin streaming the movie or TV show with one tap.
