Apple Puts Stamp On September 12 Event With An Invitation

Finally, the day has come that we have been talking about for months, Apple puts its stamp on the September 12 event. The tech giant is all set up to unveil the updates for its product lineups including iPhone and iPad. The event will kick off on September 12 at 10.a.m. P.T at Steve Job’s Theater in Cupertino. In order to confirm this year’s event, Apple has shared an invitation stating the date, time and venue of the event.

Apple is expected to introduce new models in the iPhone series alongside updates to the MacBook, iPad and Apple Watch. According to resources, the company is also planning to launch a new enhanced version of Apple AirPods for its fans. The tech giant has been strictly following its schedule since last six year for launching the new devices in fall every year. Last year, the company launched iPhone 8 and iPhone X (which is 10) skipping iPhone 7s in the lineup on the occasion of device’s 10 anniversary. Now, this is unclear how Apple will take forward the iPhone name in series.

Talking about the iPhone, the long chain of rumors suggests that Apple Will launch three variants this year. Apple is expected to give an update to its 5.8-inch OLED display to the current iPhone X. The other two variants include a 6.5 inch OLED display and a 6.1 inch OLED display iPhone. The bigger iPhone is expected to be the expensive one whereas the 6.1 inches will be the cheaper variant in the lineup. Along with this the leaks also claims that Apple could also introduce iPhone SE 2 that will revive the long-forgotten SE series of iPhone.

Besides, Apple is also expected to reveal new models of iPad Pro inheriting the Face ID and gesture control from iPhone X. Reportedly, we are going to get two different iPad Pros including a 12.9 inch and an 11.9-inch variant. On the software side, we could expect Apple to reveal the launch date of iOS 12 at the event. Till date, the company has given the number of iOS 12 beta versions and it seems that the new OS is ready to hit the devices.
