The new device will come better packed than iPhone X.

iPhone X

iPhone X is already in the limelight since its launch and people are already anticipating the next iPhone from Apple. Following a report by Strategy Analytics, iPhone X was the world's best-selling smartphone model in the first quarter of 2018. To stay afloat in the fierce competition of smartphones, Apple has no other option but to keep springing up with some of the other surprises.

To more about new iPhone X, guide yourself through all the rumours that have shed some light on the upcoming device.

iPhone X Size

If I look at the rumours that have been making rounds, the new iPhone X is expected to sport a bigger screen that may follow the line of iPhone 8. Apple can also make it as the largest phone in its history with the 6.8-inch screen. In one of the recent report from Japanese blog Macotakara, a larger X-style phone was showcased with 6.5-inch-class OLED display panel.

Though Apple always had a line drawn between its phones and iPads (Which are obviously much bigger in size). But the new iPhone X may better fit into the "phablet" segment. Irrespective of the screen size, I envision a slim and compact handset from the Apple’s end.

Much like iPhone X, the new device is expected to carry forward the bezel-free and notch feature. This will make the screen look even bigger.

As Apple boast about its durable glass on iPhone X, the company does need to come out with better glass panel as a fall from a foot can also prove pricey (After All, it’s an Apple product).

iPhone Specifications

If I take 6.5 inches into consideration, iPhone OLED display could pose some hurdles to Samsung (Official manufacturers of display panels for Apple). On the other hand, Apple can also rope-in LG for supplying display for its future handsets, as it makes large smartphone OLEDs for its own phones and for few of the Google devices.

The device will be powered by Apple’s latest processor, A12, which should make it smart enough to take on latest Snapdragon 845 Processor.

Apple will be going with dual-camera set-up in its new offering, as it is yet to fully prove itself and new iPhone X will be the best platform to unleash its features. One of the notable features in the iPhone X was TrueDepth camera system that may see some tweaks.

The other major highlight of the iPhone X was Face ID that won major accolades from everyone from the industry and I expect the same goes for the next handset.

The current dust/water resistant rating of iPhone X is IP67 certified, which can make it submerged up to 1m for 30 mins. The new device should increase this bar and should go for IP68.

iPhone X Price And Availability

At this stage, the speculating price is a bit difficult as I am not fully aware of the features and specifications that may come along with new iPhone X but whatever little I have on it, I expect Apple to display the next device at somewhere near $1200. At this price, it would be a bit pricey but looking at the current price of iPhone X, I can put it like that.

I anticipate the next iPhone to make a bang in the third quarter of this year, as it will provide ample time to the company for testing and adhering to the latest technology. If I look at the availability of iPhone X after it was announced last year, there was a major crunch in the supply and Apple must have learned some fruitful lessons from that.
