With this new experience, you can pick up to 30 artists to create your station and also choose how frequently these artists appear. Additionally, you can apply filters that change the mood of the station and decide whether you want the radio to only include the artists you've selected or content from a broader set of similar artists.
Compared to popular music streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, YouTube Music's redesigned radio experience offers a lot more flexibility and customization.
You can refine your results further by using specific filters, such as "new discoveries" or "chill songs." To access this new feature, simply navigate to the YouTube Music homepage and scroll down until you see "Your music tuner."
The feature is rolling out on iOS and Android in all countries where YouTube Music is available for both free and paid users. According to the company, this new radio functionality empowers users to create their own radios from the ground up, giving them a lot more control over their music-listening experiences.
So why not give it a try?
