Salesforce is making a significant leap into the future of artificial intelligence with its acquisition of Spindle AI, a move set to turbocharge its Agentforce roadmap. The deal, expected to close in Salesforce’s fourth fiscal quarter of 2026, marks a major step in the company’s push to turn raw business data into autonomous decision-making capabilities.

From Dashboards to ‘What If’

For years, businesses have used analytics to understand what happened. Spindle AI is built to predict what will happen.

Founded by tech veterans Ryan Atallah and Carson Kahn, Spindle's platform creates ‘agentic systems’, smart AI agents that can reason, learn, and act independently.

Instead of just viewing a dashboard, a company can use Spindle's technology to run complex simulations in real-time. A user can ask predictive questions like, What will be the impact on revenue if we change our pricing structure? Or how will this new go-to-market strategy perform?

The AI agents then simulate the outcomes, condensing work that would typically take an entire analytics team into mere seconds.
