PUBG PS4 update has excited the gamers across the globe
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds popularly known as PUBG has come a long way since its initial release in March 2017. PUBG is considered as the first ‘realistic’ Battle Royale game and gave some tough times to its competitors, one being Fortnite.
After settling its foot on PCs, Xbox and smartphones, PUBG is now coming to corner the PlayStation or PS market.
PUBG PS4 Release Date
PUBG PS4 update is rolling out on 7th of December 2018.
The actual content for the PS4 version of PUBG will be the same as all the other existing versions, although custom matches and event mode are expected to arrive later. A new Vikendi snow map is being loaded in the PUBG update.

The PUBG PS4 updated version 1.01 comes with improved graphics options regarding PS4 and enhanced performance to increase the frame rate.
Also, the game will now consist of giant cosmodrome with a rocket, command center, satellites, and towers. PUBG PS4 PTS (Public Test Server) has been made available for the players to check out all the features before the game’s actual release.

2. PUBG PS4 Digital Edition
- Looter’s Edition: Also known as the standard edition, the game description states that it comes with ‘unknown avatar.’ On the basis of assumption, it seems safe to say that it comes with the Uncharted and Last of Us cosmetic items detailed above. The Looter’s edition is available for $30.
- Survivor’s Edition: Costing $20 more than the Looter’s edition, it includes everything from the previous, and also the Vikendi Event Pass, 2300 G-Coins and 20,000 BP. It is available for $50.
- Champion’s Edition: Instead of 2,300 G-Coins, it includes a total of 6,000 and costs $10 more than the Survivor’s edition. All other features are expected to be the same. It is available for $60.
