Google's 20th Birthday: Take Tour of its 1998 Garage Office

Google is finally 20 years old, and the company celebrated its birthday with a number of surprises. Larry Page and Sergey Brin founded Google on 4th September 1998, but the company celebrates its birthday on 27th September every year.

Today, the company is celebrating the 20th Birthday of Google search. As a part of the celebration, Google added a new doodle on the home page linked to a video.

The video takes you to the 20 years of memory lane showing the journey covered by the company with all the popular searches throughout these years. Besides, to honor the founders of the company, there is a virtual street view of Susan’s Menlo Park garage, where the company was founded.

The video contains adorable and creative animations revealing the most popular searches went viral in these 20 years. On the other hand, the virtual tour of the garage is fantastic and enough to give you the feel of that time when Google was in the development phase.

The team has recreated the entire scene by rebuilding the garage rooms, and you can see the work in minor details including the gadgets from the ’90s, football t-shirt, and much more.

The tour gives you access to Google’s first office, and you can see the different rooms where the core team of Google did the wonder. Along with this, there are so many hidden gems inside the garage from the secret door to unexpected clues.

Wait, the celebration didn't end here, Google has some more Easter Eggs in its bag for the users. The company brings back some of the old searches with modern phrases, for example, if you search, ‘baby,’ it will show, ‘It’s 2018! Did you mean, bae’?
