Sony flips the script on its controversial price hikes, slashing up to €150 off PS5 and €100 off PS5 Pro consoles for Black Friday 2025, marking the lowest prices since launch.
The PS5 and PS5 Pro will see major price cuts starting November 21, with savings reaching up to €150 on select models. With huge discounts and price drops expected, it’s shaping up to be the ultimate shopping event for gamers.
The Black Friday PS5 deals will hit Europe first. The standard PS5 with a disc drive drops from €549 to €449, saving buyers €100. The PS5 digital edition gets an even better deal, falling from €499 to €349 with a massive €150 discount. The newly released PS5 Pro will be available for €699 instead of €799, marking its debut discount.
It’s not just consoles that will be heavily discounted during Black Friday in Europe. Accessories such as controllers, headsets, and PlayStation VR systems will also see significant price cuts. If you want to expand your gaming setup, Black Friday 2025 will be the perfect time to grab those extra accessories at a reduced price.
European gamers can also expect discounts on PlayStation Plus subscriptions and a wide range of exclusive games. From the latest titles like Spider-Man 2 to older fan favorites, Black Friday 2025 in Europe will be packed with offers that make it easier to build your ideal gaming collection.
One exciting bundle that’s making waves this Black Friday is the Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundle. This exclusive offer includes a standard PS5 console with a disc drive, a DualSense controller, 1,000 V-Bucks, and a voucher for Flowering Chaos cosmetics that can be used in various Fortnite modes like LEGO Fortnite and the Fortnite Festival. For Fortnite fans, this bundle provides an excellent way to get the console and enhance your in-game experience at a fraction of the regular price.
DualSense controllers traditionally see discounts during Black Friday, with standard models dropping to around $54.99 and special editions hitting $59.99. PlayStation Plus memberships are expected to receive up to 30% off across all tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium.
That’s the big question. Right now, all these deals are focused on the European market. Sony is often hit-and-miss with its console discounts in the US. We haven't seen any official word for North America.
Gamers there recently dealt with a $50 price hike. We can only hope Sony brings similar PS5 discounts and PS5 Pro deals to all regions. If they do, this Black Friday 2025 could be a massive win for everyone.
