This move has allowed OpenAI gpt to train increasingly powerful models, unlocking the AI capabilities of tools like ChatGPT and Bing.
The World's biggest software company's vice president of AI and cloud, Scott Guthrie, confirmed that the company spent several hundred million dollars on the project, indicating its willingness to invest heavily in the AI space.
Moreover, Microsoft is working on making Azure’s AI capabilities even more powerful by launching new virtual machines that use Nvidia’s H100 and A100 Tensor Core GPUs, which will allow OpenAI and other companies to train larger and more complex AI models.
