Mobile is influential, and so are the trends that are seeding up these days. And why we are saying that is because we are flattered by the magic mobile and the recurring trends can create on the business. The thought popped up right in the middle of a conference I was watching online.

There were trendsetters, some honorable speakers from the mobile industry and a thoughtful audience like me gracing the event online and offline. Why we are amazed by the potential mobile app trends to have is because it brings along a series of trends that are now the food to the soul of a lot of business today.

Right from the beginning, the event was naming some influential people in the mobile industry to speak on mobile app marketing trends. The next speaker dragged our attention right on the system because it was the mention of Facebook audience network for growing the business.

Facebook audience network help app owners to create engaging ad experiences for the users.

It was one among the ideas presented by one of the speakers in the seminar and here is all that I jotted down from the same to help Global business leaders take advantage of innovative in-app advertising trends still budding to become more prominent.  

Mobile Video Advertising

One of the most prominent mobile advertising trends that a number of mobile advertising companies have started practicing. Anything that is clean and interacts easily with the users impacts them greatly. It is one of the lower-hanging fruits for app owners to include as the trending in-app purchase trends blooming across all channels.   

The video is in high demand, and consumers like to perceive such reality. The trend of mobile video consumption will continue and it will very soon outpace the rest of the trends. Investing in video growth and delivering quality inventory with the precision campaign can be the best thing that mobile advertisers will garner the benefit from very soon.

Transparency In The Services

The trend seems to be a necessary reality and a buzzword throughout 2018. Advertisers have all the right to know where their dollars are being spent. They have the very right to know how the app publishers are advertising their apps among the masses. Advertising professionals who are keen to add transparent mobile advertising trends into their businesses can easily generate more traffic along with the sales.

We all have watched the scandals around fake news and the measures Facebook has to take to win over the issue. Such practices are the dark side of transparency that a number of advertisers have already encountered.

Some used it to get all the attention while others stood against the scandal around fake news. And if the current trend of transparency is to be believed it is going to be the buzzword for the advertisers in the upcoming future.  

Soaring eCPMs Or 'Effective Cost Per Mille’

The practices related to mobile devices are expanding year by year. As mobile is continually growing as users spend more time in their favorite apps and browsers on all of their mobile devices.

The present stats at which users are using the mobile apps represent trends that claim the ongoing year, i.e. 2018 will see an increase in the time spent in-app by ten minutes per day among smartphone users in the US.

Most of consumers’ media time is spent on mobile apps, advertisers are likely to increase their valuation of apps as an advertising medium and this trend will help to raise the eCPMs or 'effective cost per mille’ graph.

eCPMs or 'effective cost per mille’ typically features the ad revenue generated by a campaign, the results can be prepared after dividing the revenue generated with the total number of ad impressions of any campaign and further expressed in units of 1,000.

Next Phase of Personalization

It is a time for mobile advertising companies when the amount of personalized data is available is more than ever. There are a host of channels that offer every sort of information to online advertisers.

Depending upon the audience that marketers would like to reach they can use any of the in-app advertising trends to get the information. The specific channels can also be used depending upon the type of message to be delivered to the audience.

There are a sort of in-app advertising methods that help marketers to know more about the personal preferences of the audiences. These in-app advertising practices offer marketers better opportunities to customize more effective marketing campaigns.

Amazon Marketing Services

When we talk about major ad serving platforms a majority of us would agree on the two biggest names including Google and Facebook. Both of the platforms have shown outstanding growth when it comes to customizing the services for the customers by taking the benefit of in-app advertising trends. These platforms have proved to pave the way for mobile advertising trends to grow exponentially.

Customized services are likely to attract more clients and a hint of in-app advertising trends can become the icing on the cake. Besides these two mentioned channels, Amazon marketing services garnered $1 billion for the company in 2017.

The company is set to grow leaps and bounds on that trajectory. If Amazon decides to work harder with the advertising trends, it is sure to break down the duopoly of Facebook and Google.  

The Rise of AR or Augmented Reality

The mobile app market need not prove the efficiency of soaring augmented reality trends in the market. Right from the beginning of 2017, the trend of AR is in practice among mobile advertisers like never before.

The current projection tells us that there will be 1 billion AR users by the end of 2020 and the number of start-ups self-describing them as pioneering AR services is under continuous growth.

One thing that these startups have brought together onboard is making use of AR In the mobile apps in different celebratory ways. With all these efforts AR is becoming increasingly common for the end-users. As the trend is becoming more of a rage, new start-ups will bloom to gain a fair share of the benefit.   

The Upshot

For all the app developers the related domain is going to offer a number of opportunities to explore the trends supporting in-app trends in advertising. All the above-mentioned trends are already in practice by some of the most prominent mobile app advertising companies and they soon will approach the new service providers working in the same domain.

Well, the conference mentioned a few other points that I will soon be covered in another post. However, the trends seem prominent in the offerings and thus they are sure to prevail more outstandingly in the times to come.
