Google just announced that it will help the users more efficiently in order to acquire information about a place or location. The company is going to add a Q&A feature to the Maps and the search for the user to access more information. The new addition will deliver the crowd-sourced answers to the user looking for a particular information.

The Question and Answer attribute already been in the beta testing phase quite some time, but the Google announced that it will be hitting smartphones real soon.

Adding the question and Answer segment in the Maps is very profitable for the users. The user can ask about anything regarding a particular location and get the answers from the people who have already visited the place. With this addition, the user will be able to get all the information regarding any location as the place description does not contain all the information. Consider someone is looking for a great Thai restaurant in the city, but won't be able to know how exactly food tastes there  and about the services or it may be a detailed inquiry about the cuisine they serve. By asking the direct question the person will be able to save his or her time and money as well.

Not only this if the question asked is a common one and the answer to that is good enough the conversation can stick to help the other users. When the feature will be live you will start seeing the ‘Question and Answer’ section of the given location. In the section, you can ask question, view and answer the previously asked question and you can also upvote the questions and answers. The most upvoted answer will be available on the top and the frequently asked questions can feature by the place owner for the users.

The Q&A feature might not be available for everyone till date but soon everyone will be noticing this new section in Google Maps and search. Google mentioned in the blog that the company has started rolling out the feature, may be it will take some time to reach all the users globally. So, in case you are not able to use this feature now, just wait for a while you will get it.

The new section in search and Google maps will be helpful for the users and the place owners as well. The frequently asked question by the users will give a precise idea to the owner what the Maps users want to know about the place most. Google is making all the information easily accessible to the users with this update.
