This is a security tool which ensures the user safety from the applications downloaded from the play store as well as those downloaded from the third party sites

Google is also using the tool to scan the apps uploaded to the Play store by the developers. The tools scan the play store thoroughly and weed out the mobile applications shows dubious behavior.

Any information gathered by the Play Protect about any malicious behavior instantly uploaded on the Google cloud which serves as a giant dataset to enhance the Play Protect performance.

The most awaited Android version Android O is already in developers hands and it is filled with stupendous features. Google recently share that Android O is embedded with the new security features to ensure the safety of user data and privacy from the applications.

The latest Android version is expected to be enrolled by later this year as Google said in the I/O event
