Now Finding True Love On Tinder May Cost Up To $500/Month

To find true love, you can either go out into the world of strangers or get an exclusive subscription of $500/month to search for them on Tinder.

Pay $500 on Tinder to Find Your Love

Tinder is one of the most used dating apps around the world. With more than 75 million monthly active users, the platform is running on the top charts of dating apps. In recent news, Tinder has launched a subscription plan for the elite, as the subscription cost of the plan is overwhelmingly higher than its existing plans. The Tinder Select plan comes at $500/month or $6000/year with no scope of discounts because whoever can afford that much probably doesn’t need the discount either.

Last year, Tinder acquired an elite-exclusive app, The League, which was one of the top performers in its genre. The platform had all the rich people bustling with the glimmer, from celebrities to famous businessmen. Now, Tinder is bringing the same filter to its home platform.

Who Is It For?

While Tinder allows you to get Plus, Gold, and Platinum plans for $20, $30, and $40, the Select plan does not work on a simple pay-and-get basis. Users need to qualify for the subscription first before getting access to pay for the Select plan. That’s why Tinder has rolled out this feature to less than 1% of its users, whom it considers extremely active. Tinder has not revealed when it plans to expand it to the remaining public or if it even wishes to do so.

The other plans, apart from Tinder Select, accounted for $475 Million in revenues in the second quarter of 2023. It also shows a sustainable growth of 6% every year, but the overall usage of the paid plans has reduced by 4% to 10.5 million. According to Gary Swidler, Match Group President, Tinder Select has the potential to impact the company’s revenue positively.

How Does It Work?

Earlier, Tinder added a verified profiles badge to identify the super-rich and famous from the general public. Now, the Tinder Select plan will keep all the people fitting these qualities simply separate from the normal subscription or no-subscription plan users. So, if you get selected to Tinder Select, the $500 will give you access to a completely new set of people. The Tinder Select feature also lets you search for your matching person and connect with them, a unique feature for its subscribers.

Whether doing these increases your chances of finding true love or not, only you will know. What we know is that finding true love can now cost up to $500/month. So try your luck at your own expense.
