Google celebrates Google Developer Day with a new certification test for developers
On 5th September, celebrating Google Developer Day Europe 2017, the search engine announced the launch of Mobile Web Specialist Certification Program on Google Developers Blog, calling out all the web developers to showcase their skills. The certification is aimed at filtering out the ones that suit the market-demand, the best way. The program is an extension of existing certification programs for Cloud Architect, Android developers, Mobile Web Specialist, Data Engineer and several others regarding the Web Development Industry.
The exam will test your skills on subjects such as ES 2015 Concepts and Syntax, Testing and Debugging, Front End Networking, Mobile Web Forms, Performance Optimization and Caching, Accessibility and of course Basic Website Layout and Styling. Each category is bolstered with reference for better understanding, however, the application must do more research than that.
To all those interested, they can take this exam on any browsing platform across the world for just $99. For the ones in India, the cost will amount to 6500 INR. The invitation is also attached to a study guide on the process. The open book test, available only in English will consist a set of coding challenges and a short exit interview. Once, you’ve cleared the test, a digital badge will be awarded which can be showcased on all sorts of media platforms, to highlight your skills from rest of the competition. The results of this test on the market are yet to be seen, however, it does offer a hope of light to all the talented developers to shine through the rest.
