Apple has packed many striking features in its devices, especially iPhone. From clicking picture without touching your phone to talking to Siri, everything amazes us. Being a smartphone has its own conveniences and moreover, iPhone has some more added benefits.

Today, I will guide you through the steps by which you can make your iPhone a magnifying glass. Every iPhone has a standard camera app and the zoom feature, but the magnifying feature has some different aspects that set it apart from the regular zoom feature. Some extra zoom in option and built-in filters are few of the added elements in the magnifying feature.

Here are the steps by which you can enable magnifier in the iPhone settings:

  • Open Settings

  • Tap on General

  • Select the Accessibility option and then Magnifier

  • Tap the toggle to turn the feature on

Once you are done, you can simply activate the magnifier by triple-clicking the Home button for iPhone 8 Plus and earlier. For iPhone X, you have to triple click the side button.

Furthermore, you can also add the magnifier option to your iPhone’s Control Center, here are the steps:

  • Open Settings

  • Tap on Control Center

  • Select the Customize Controls

  • Add the Magnifier option by tapping the + symbol

After adding the Magnifier option, open the control center in your iPhone and you will find it right in the list. Once enabled, you can zoom into any picture to dig-into greater detail and if it’s a text, you can exactly see what is it.

There is still more to go. You can zoom-in on the object you focus upon. It can be done by using the slider to adjust the level of magnification. In case of the dark surrounding, you can turn on the flash also for a clearer picture. Moreover, you can also lock the focus on the object by the Focus Lock button. Also, there is an option of freeze frame and to zoom-in and out on a still image.

Apart from magnifying, the option will also offer you with a set of filters that will transform the picture background. Few of the filters are White/Blue, Yellow/Black, Yellow/blue, Grayscale, and Red/Black. You can invert these colors using the Invert Filters button.

Now you are fully aware of the tit-bits of the Magnifier option, roll on with your iPhone and zoom into any image you wish.
