It was in the last month only that Google announced its first major redesign for none other than Gmail app. The app got a number of major features that are liked and loved alike by the users. As always, Google focused on none other than the material designs and with the designing, the giant also added a number of new functionalities.

The redesign includes a number of offerings for the users including smart reply, snooze, high-priority notifications, a nudging reminder that is AI based, native offline support and much more to this.

While some of these features have already been rolled out for the users, the company is now rolling out the smart unsubscribe feature for the iOS users and the following tweet confirms the same. A similar feature will be made available for the Android users in some time.

The feature is actually going to work smartly for the users. The smart unsubscribe feature will categorize the emails for the users in order to prescribe a mailing list to unsubscribe. The innovative feature will pick up the newsletters (emails) that users have not opened for quite some time. With this rollout, Google is planning to offer a better experience to the users by helping them reduce the clutter in their inboxes.

Gmail is a smart platform for the users. It already assists exceptionally well and the addition of this innovative feature is going to be another great offering for the users. The smart unsubscribe feature is actually going to be much smarter but we will have to wait until we know the users’ view on the same. As much as we know about the offering, the feature will only be made available for the iOS users to help them arrange their emails like never before.

This year Google is revamping many of its features and the current rollout seems to be an addition in the same. Recently some changes were made to Google drive, which users liked a lot. And, as per the current offering, the smart unsubscribe is going to be an exciting feature as well.
