Bambino is an app which helps parents to find the trustworthy babysitters recommended by friends or neighbors. This app is designed to help parents at the last minute when parents have to leave their kids at home to attend an urgent meeting or work requirement. It helps parents in finding nearby babysitters who are recommended by their friends or family.
Bambino founder and CEO Sean Greene said this iOS and Android app is rising fast which has acquired 35 cities by the date and planning to add five new networks every month. This app is free to sign-up and has successfully joined 20,000 users including parents and babysitters.
Bambino combines the idea of two babysitter services apps, Care.com which is a leading site for babysitting and the idea of finding babysitters in the neighborhood is derived from nextdoor's private social network. Therefore, Bambino gives peace of mind by providing reliable babysitter in the neighborhood.
Greene said, his motive and vision to launch this app was to save people’s extra expenditure on seeking babysitting services from any professional firm. This idea generated due to his willingness to find a good, honest and trustworthy babysitter nearby his home that his friend had used.
There are other well-known babysitting apps out there like UrbanSitter and SitterCity. However, Greene claims that Bambino is the only babysitting app which has matched the true method of asking friend or neighbor.
Bambino app (Android / iOS) has three filters to find babysitter, first are the sitters’ parents already know, and second are those that are recommended or used by friends or neighbors and finally the recommendations are according to their distance from your home which is completely different and reliable way to hire babysitters than the job posting process practiced by popular names UrbanSitter and SitterCity, said Greene.
