Following the PUBG ban via the Gujarat government, the police made the arrest of 10 college students in Rajkot for violating the rules and were booked under the IPC 188 and Gujarat Police Act (GPA) 135.

Internet Freedom Foundation (IFF) Filling PIL Against The Ban On PUBG Mobile

PIL was filed to Gujarat High Court by the Internet Freedom Foundation (IFF) challenging the ban on PUBG mobile. The IFF complained that the PUBG ban leads to a violation of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Indian Constitution.

But the efforts by an organization that is defending net neutrality, freedom, privacy & innovation in India have gone in vain as the Gujarat High Court has dismissed their PIL.

The Gujarat High Court has declined to hear our petition challenging the ban on PUBG and the subsequent arrests.
