WhatsApp, the messaging app with 2 billion daily active users, is reportedly working on a "private newsletter tool". According to WaBetaInfo, the feature is currently under development and will be a one-to-many tool for broadcasting information. 

This move could revolutionize the newsletter industry by allowing users to read newsletters within the instant messaging app, thus increasing the open rate and providing more sophisticated analytics to those writing newsletters. 

For WhatsApp, this could mean a way to get users to spend even more time on the app and better serve brands. The app could become the biggest newsletter player in a month, given its massive user base, which can be a game-changer for the burgeoning but tiny newsletter industry. 

The move could also expand the current use of WhatsApp's "broadcast" feature and allow users to have dialogues open with multiple people at once.
