Shyft Technologies, a mobile-first workforce management solution provider, looks all set to expand its investment in product design and establishing its presence in Los Angeles. In a recent announcement, Shyft announced the inclusion of Yaroslav Zubko, the former Lead Product Designer for Revenue at Tinder, in their team.
Zubko will lead product design for the mobile-first enterprise solution from the new Shyft office in Los Angeles. He will be working on a foundation of user-first product design at Shyft to enhance further and maintain the end-user experience as Shyft looks to expand.
Zubko is an award-winning designer who is known for his contribution in designing the innovative user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design concepts. He is even recognized by design publications such as Muzli, Uplabs, and Icons8.
“Work-life balance is tremendously important to our end users, who may be parents, students, or working multiple jobs,” said Zubko. “My goal is to make sure we have a deep understanding of hourly workers’ needs to help them save time so they can focus on what’s important. With a focus on user research, we can test new patterns, learn, and innovate our product in ways that have never been accomplished before to the benefit of hourly workers.”
Interestingly, Zubko has earlier spearheaded the product design team of Tinder to help it become the highest-earning, non-game application in the App Store. He was responsible for designing concepts for products that in turn, drove subscription and à la carte purchases, in the app.
Also, Zubko played a key role in helping Tinder balance the needs of its users and its business objectives in the design of products such as Boost, Super Boost, and Super Like. And at Shyft, he will continue to maintain a similar balance between the needs of end-users and enterprise clients’ goals.
“As we continue to scale and evolve our product offering, it is important to have an expert in design innovation at the helm, to help us execute our vision on the future of work for hourly associates,” said Brett Patrontasch, CEO of Shyft. “Best-in-class user experience is core to the value we offer to employers and employees alike, and Yaroslav will be key to ensuring we maintain a consistent, high-quality user experience as we grow.”
