Xiaomi, the China-based smartphone, and tech gadget manufacturer have recently launched Mi Mix 2s. The company mostly focused on the Asian markets especially on Indian consumers and sells its phones via flash sales. However, this didn't stop Xiaomi from challenging the other tech giants with its latest flagship phone. Update to its Mi MIx 2 is now available in the US and UK market. As Xiaomi portray its Mi Mix series more of an example of art, it surely delivers a mind pleasing look. Mi Mix 2S follows the similar path like its predecessor and have ceramic body curved at all the four sides. The company has already made Mix 2 bezel-less but the lesser body to screen ration makes 2S look more delicately bigger. There is a 7000 series aluminum frame with almost no bezel along with an 18K gold coating on the camera. The phone has a 5.99-inch display that delivers the 1080p resolution. Along with this, there is a perfectly shaped circular fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone.

The dual camera lens is pinned at the back divided by a LED flashlight mounted in between them. In addition to this, there is a 3,400 mAh battery with quick charging support that will keep alive the for a long time. You won't find any 3.5mm jack instead there is USB-C type available for audio output. Moreover, Xiaomi has gone wireless in the charging with Qi charging support and the device only takes 2 hours and 40 minutes to charge completely. Mi Mix 2S runs on Xiaomi's MIUI 9.0 interface over Android and delivers a smooth experience without any hassle. 

The Verdict

The experience with Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S was quite impressive, the camera performance is outstanding. Powerful processor makes it feel like you are working on a super fast computer. Mi Mix 2S comes at half of the iPhone X’s price and offers 8BG RAM and 128GB storage that’s unrivaled. However, the location of the front camera produces inferences in the overall experience of the phone.
