Xiaomi launched Mi Max in 2017 as its first attempt to offer the larger display phone for the users. The 6-inch power display of the Xiaomi phone was big enough to grab the users’ attention. However, the company already have 5.7-inch display phablet, Mi Note in the market, but that is a flagship phone from the company. On the other hand, Mi Max is a powerful budget phone with all the features for the people looking something without putting the hole in their pocket. The idea also worked for Xiaomi as Mi Max was successful and received a huge demand form the consumers. In 2017, Xiaomi has released the upgraded Mi Max 2 by eliminating the some of the flaws from its predecessor.

I have reviewed the Mi Max 2 to know whether it continues to offer all the premium features at a budget price like its predecessor nor not.

The Verdict

The Xiaomi phone comes with a powerful specification, which is supported by Android Nougat. Overall experience with Mi Max 2 was good, the phone makes me feel like I own a flagship premium smartphone without paying that much. The battery is huge and it is capable of performing for a long time, whether you play games or jump between the social media apps. Mi Max performed well almost every task I have thrown at it, I keep switching between the apps, tried high-resolution games and even operated it continuously for hours. The Xiaomi phone stood well against all the task, however, the only problem that I encountered was carrying the large phone with me, as it doesn't fit in the pocket perfectly.

So, if you believe you can handle the 6.4 screen without getting annoyed then Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is good to go.
