The Chinese market is filled with the smartphone manufacturers that are slowly making their way to the international market. Vivo is one of those that is getting popular among the smartphone users for its latest technology based devices. The company may be in news due to the in-glass fingerprint sensor but it is already known for its Vivo V7 Plus smartphone. The company initially launched Vivo V7 Plus in China and India now, it is ready to expand in more markets including Russia, Taiwan, Singapore and other regions. The in-glass sensor technology news was successful in getting the company attention in the international market. Even, Apple hasn't finished its work on the same technology, but Vivo is almost set to launch it. But, here we are going to review the company's last releases Vivo V7 Plus for the tech enthusiast to uncover its all aspects.

Vivo V7 Plus is the perfect selfie device

Beauty mode support enhances the selfies

The company launched the smartphone back in September 2017 with a 5.9-inch display comprising the screen resolution of 720 X 1440. The smartphone is powered by not so impressive octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor supported with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. In Vivo V7 Plus you will be getting the 16MP rear camera and a 24 MP front camera for flawless selfies. Vivo also added the dual sim support to the phone for those users who need to operate two numbers at once with a 3225 mAh battery. The phone runs on the Nougat v7.1 and contains the gyroscopic sensor, accelerometer sensor, compass and a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Selfie KIng

There is no doubt the phone only promotes the selfie trend with its powerful front camera of 24MP and f/2.0 aperture. Vivo V7 Plus is the perfect selfie device that offers the HDR, Portrait mode and the Beauty mode with the front camera. All the supported modes with the front camera work impressive for the selfies. You will be able to make your selfies look more natural than ever. The Beauty mode lets the users play with three parameters of the image that is Skin tone, Skin buffing, and white balance. The portrait mode adds more professional touch to your selfies by blurring the backgrounds. However, the process is more software dependent, which sometimes causes it to get confused sometimes. Along with this, there is a front-facing flash with the number of filters and a group selfie option.

As we earlier told you Vivu Plus runs on the Android Nougat version 7.1 and there is no information about the Oreo update yet. The experience with the software of the phone was quite satisfying considering the 4GB RAM and processor. However, the company could have improved the touch and the processing speed. The gaming experience was up to the mark in Vivo V7 Plus we played few interesting games including the Asphalt. There is also a quick game mode pull-out option that puts all the notifications to silent for your uninterrupted gaming experience.

The verdict

Vivo V7 Plus is quite an interesting phone from the company but it failed to impress us considering today’s market competition. Vivo V7 Plus doesn't have any flaw but it also lacks in offering something to worth pay for except for the selfie camera. But, if you are selfies freak than the story is different for you, Vivo V7 Plus is advice you were waiting for a long time now. With the help of the 24 MP front camera and different modes, you can supply endless selfies to your social media profile day and night.
