  • Expensive considering the upgrades

Samsung has finally unveiled the bigger edition of its Samsung Galaxy S9, and it came with the specifications as we expected. Samsung Galaxy S9 plus is a lot like S8 Plus company launched last year. The design modifications are similar to the S8 plus, the iterative model contains the big screen and jaw-dropping camera similar to the S8. The smartphone was the most awaited launch after the S9  as the fans were waiting for the bigger display. Comparing to the S9 the Galaxy S9 Plus comes with huge 6.2 display and the low light camera. The infinity display with a curved side and the amazing camera capabilities are two big reasons to skip the S9 for S9 plus. We have reviewed the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus for getting a better idea of the S9 upgrade.

Powerful camera with AR emoji

Camera upgrade

The 12MP rear camera with the improved aperture of f/1.5 is the best you can have right now. The camera is most enhanced in the term of the aperture that offers low-light and noise defeating snaps or recording to the users. This ability isn't available even in the top notch devices like Google Pixel 2. The powerful camera of the Samsung Galaxy S9 plus with dual lenses enabled the users to capture mind-blowing snaps. The primary lens of the phone is able to record the super -slow motion videos with 960 frames per second if you are video concern person. For the selfie lovers, the 8MP front camera offers AR emojis and filers to take funny selfies.

As we earlier mentioned that there is no significant change in the design of S8 Plus iterative model, S9 Plus looks similar to a small tweak. Last year launched S8 of the company received too many complaints about the position of the fingerprint sensor. The big screen makes it difficult for the users manage their finger position. S9 Plus posses the fingerprint at the center for easy pointing the finger to unlock. However, thanks to the iris scanning feature there will be no need to touch the sensor much. In addition, for the time Samsung also added the stereo speaker to its devices. The overall look of the phone symbolizes the Samsung’s glass and metal combination of the plant look for its devices.

Unfortunately, the rumors of the on-screen fingerprint sensor died with the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus launch. The 6.2-inch screen comprises the infinity display and the 90 percent of phone’s front is the screen. The display comprises Quad HD + with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and Full HD 1080p support. The little bezel or you're can say bezel-less display with infinity screen integrated with the curved side makes it look like a future gadget

Hardware and Software

The S9 Plus comes with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor or the octa-core Exynos 9810. The powerful processor of S9 Plus is backed up by the 6GB RAM with the support of 64GB internal storage.  The phone runs on the Android Oreo 8.0 with the blend of Samsung's own Experience 9.0 UI replacing the stock Android.

Our Words

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is one of the most powerful devices available in the market with all possible technical assistance. With the integration of infinity long display, AR emoji, and low-light camera the company tries to compete with  Apple’s, iPhone X. However, the phone is too expensive compared to it's not so downgraded S8 Plus. In addition, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is a few months away from the launch so most of the consumers want to hold their horses for the bigger Android device of 2018.
