Motorola has taken a great turn with its smartphone strategies since when the Android smartphone became more smarter. The US-based smartphone maker not only offers wide range but also a powerful device to the consumers. Where its flagship smartphones are making noise in the industry the mid-range smartphones including Moto G series are taking over the market. However, the company knows that there some big markets including India where affordable and cheaper smartphone could turn the table for the company. This is why Motorola has introduced the Motorola Moto E4 that seems to be a very cheaper phone but contains higher specifications comparing to other smartphones available at the same price.

Moto E4 is the best phone available at such low cost

The phone performs well and the camera is also good

On paper, Motorola Moto E4 seems to have a pretty good specification and the features but let us dig into the E4 to know exactly it has to offer. In order to know the details and performance of the phone check out our Moto E4 review below.

Motorola Moto E4 Design

  • Offers sleek design
  • Plastic back makes it look better
  • 2.4D curved glass

The smartphone makers are now smart enough to understand the importance of the design even in the cheap smartphones. This is why the cheaper phones nowadays don't have low edge design, similarly, Motorola Moto E4 design is nothing less than a good work from Motorola. The curved 2.4D glass gives a pleasant look that combines with the plastic body at the sides. The texture of the E4 doesn't make you feel like you are holding a low price tagged smartphone in your hand. The front side of the phone comprises a front camera with a LED Flash along with the sensors. The bottom side has the fingerprint seasons in the Motorola’s provided with the traditional elliptical shape. On flipping the E4 you will find a rear circular camera which is large enough to make you understand that Motorola cares about the camera of the phone

The back panel of the phone is available in two design one is plastic and other is metallic look. You will get the design depending on where you live, in the US you will get plastic body whereas in the Uk you will be given all-metal body. The speaker, micro USB, and 3.5mm jack are located at the bottom and the volume keys along with power button are available on the side of the phone.

Motorola Moto E4 Display

  • 5 inch IPS LCD display
  • Contains 720 X 2180 pixel resolution
  • Corning Gorilla glass 3

Motorola Moto E4 comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD display that offers the 720 X 2180 pixel resolution of an HD experience. Along with this, Motorola has equipped the E4 with Corning Gorilla glass 3 for protecting the screen from damages and scratches. The phone offers 65.9 percent screen to body ratio that makes the screen look a little small considering the 5-inch display. However, the display has a high brightness that will give you the money return experience. The overall experience with the display was quite good compared to other smartphones offering the same specs.

Motorola Moto E4 Specifications

  •  MediaTek MT6737 chipset
  •  Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 Processor
  • 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage
  • Single or Dual SIM
  • Storage upgradable up to 128GB

Motorola may have chosen a very less price for the phone in order to offer the phone at an affordable price but it did not compromise with the specifications of the phone. Motorola Moto E4 comes with a MediaTek MT6737 chipset that is coupled with the Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 Processor for the making the E4 work faster. The processing setup of the smartphone has been coupled with 2GB RAM that is supported by 16GB of internal storage. In addition, there is two variant of the E4 that includes one with single SIM support and other dual SIM support for the users. Motorola Moto E4 uses the 2800 mAh removable Li-Ion battery that is capable of keep powering the phone for a whole day on using the phone as an average user.

Motorola Moto E4 Camera

  • 8MP rear camera with a LED flash
  • 5MP front camera

The camera of the E4 isn't impressive in the specification details but what you can expect from a cheaper phone. The rear camera of the E4 is made up of an 8MP lens that offers the autofocus and some basic camera features along with a LED flash beside it. The front camera of the E4 is composed of a 5MP lens that is quite good in taking stable selfies just in a single attempt. Considering the price, the Motorola Moto E4 camera works well and gives good quality images.

The Verdict

The E4 is undoubtedly the best smartphone available at this price in the market. Motorola Moto E4 comprises the specification that makes it run smoother than the competitor smartphones available at the same price range. Motorola has done a great job in offering the best budget-friendly power packed smartphone. If you need a small phone that is cheaper and offers the best performance as well then you need to buy Moto E4.
