Acer has been competing in the mobile market for a long time now, but it is still fighting to hold a strong position. The company has tried many times to offer something different that could attract the users. However, the smartphones from Acer has been struggling to keep up with the rivals in terms of design and performance. In 2016, the company launched Acer Liquid Zest Plus that was also a part of the company’s effort to capture a significant portion of smartphone users. The smartphone comprises a suitable hardware support for the mid-range users along with a delicate design. The company tried to offer an affordable smartphone containing all the needed supports for average users. The phone is among the best smartphone that the company has introduced till date.

The optimal front cover is something that you must try

The 5000 mAh battery serves for a three day

In order to know how exactly the phone works, we operated it almost for two weeks and came up with below reports. Check Out our Acer Liquid Zest Plus review to know whether the phone worth your money or not.

Acer Liquid Zest Plus Design

Acer has totally changed it design perspective with this smartphone it has experimented something different. Moving away from the traditional block type design the company has given Acer Liquid Zest Plus a curved design with a plastic body that looks clean and delicate. The 5.5-inch screen in front side with the secondary camera and the sensors is big enough to deliver an amazing experience. The aluminum frame makes the sides of the phone conformable that helps in getting a better grip. As the phone was launched back in 2016 it has a big bezel compared to the latest smartphones. At the bottom of the bezel, there are on-screen navigation buttons for the users to operate. Below navigation, there is a small chin that contains the Acer logo. The back of the phone is simple plain that possessed a 13MP camera at the top with a LED flash beneath it. The speaker of the phone is located at the bottom of the back panel that is quite a traditional place for the speakers. The overall design of the phone is quite satisfying the phone easily fits into the hand and the side buttons are reachable.

Acer Liquid Zest Plus Display

Acer Liquid Zest Plus comprises a 5.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that looks quite bright. The display of the phone is capable of delivering 720 X 1280 pixel resolutions with a broad color range. The phone screen looks bigger compared to other same range smartphones due to the 70.3 percent screen to body ratio. The IPS LCD display is quite good compared to the aspect ratio, you will get a good experience while watching videos and images. With 5.5 inch display is quite easy to stretch your fingers over the phone and touch is fast with quick response. However, the display is quite disappointed in the sunlight as the brightness didn't work well when you go out in the daytime.

Acer Liquid Zest Plus Specifications

The company has done a pretty good job over the hardware support of the phone for providing an overall great experience. The phone comprises good specs considering the launch year along with the devices in this price range. The Liquid Zest Plus owns a MediaTek MT6735 chipset to power the phone along with the Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 that works as a processor. The processing unit of the phone is coupled with 2GB RAM and operated on the 16GB internal storage. The operating hardware support of the phone is quite capable of performing all the needed task. However, the internal storage is quite low which can be expanded further using the dedicated microSD card. I have operated the phone for two weeks and during the period the apps worked fine, switching between the apps was smooth. However, opening too much of apps at the same time puts a load on the processor makes and it a little bit slow. The games with 2GB RAM compatibility works totally fine on the phone, but if you go for some high-resolution games you might face troubles. The phone also comes with the 5000 mAh Li-Ion non-removable massive battery that is able to last up to 3 days after the full charge according to the company. The battery also comes with the quick charging support that makes it take less time to juice up.

Acer Liquid Zest Plus Camera

The company has been claiming the phone's camera to be the best in the market that contains the latest features for perfect snap. Acer Liquid Zest Plus holds a 13MP camera at the back along with a LED flash that intensifies the image quality. The rear camera offers the capabilities including the phase detection & laser autofocus, face detection, HDR, and Panorama. The camera is quite amazing compared to the other components of the phone, it takes great snaps even in the low light. The quality of the images is amazing, however, the autofocus struggles sometimes. The front camera is composed of a 5MP lens that also delivers the good quality selfies and worked well during the video calls.

Acer Liquid Zest Plus Front Cover

The most interesting feature that will surely have your attention is the optional front cover. The phone comes with an optional cover that normally placed at the back but you can swipe it to the front screen. The cover contains a capsule-shaped long space through which you can access the small information of your phone. With the sneaking space, you can see notifications, manage the phone volume, change the music track and even read the messages.

Acer Liquid Zest Plus Verdict

Acer Liquid Zest Plus is a good smartphone that falls under the budget with excellent hardware support. In addition, the big battery support is a bonus that will eliminate the need for sticking your phone to the charging point for the whole day. However, the internal storage is quite an issue but that can be solved by the microSD card. Overall the phone looks good and works well so spending on this smartphone isn't a waste of money.
