The new laptop is completely redesigned and performance is way beyond what I was expecting.

Dell XPS 13 is the synonym for a remarkable performance

The performance remains to be the standout feature of Dell XPS 13. This laptop with its 8th-gen Core i5 can give a run for money to laptops running 8th-gen Core i7 processor.

The story doesn't hold here, there is much more to be discovered in this new gadget.

What makes this machine so special?

The Dell XPS 13 sports a flashy new design with absolute carbon fiber and aluminum chassis.
The most notable feature that will make you fall in love with this laptop is its “Infinity Edge Display.” The bezels are so thin on the edges, it almost puts it into “edge-to-edge” display category.

The latest version by Dell XPS 13 is the first quad-core machine among its previous siblings. All the other models supported dual-core hardware. With the new update, Dell has loaded the laptop with Intel’s new 8th-generation “Kaby Lake R” processor.

The laptop offers screen options over 1080p and latest generation of Intel processors for an all-out performance. To deal with the legacy support, the Dell XPS 13 also offers two USB 3.0 ports, beside a Thunderbolt 3/USB-C port, which easily manage the video and additional peripheral connections.

Regardless of the relative thinness of the laptop, one can effortlessly type and hardly the user would encounter any issue with its keyboard. As per default setting by dell, keyboard backlighting comes standard and automatically turns on when the system is in use. XPS 13 has only two brightness levels available, which can well take care of laptops display. The only annoying thing in keyboard is the extra light escaping from beneath the keys

The screen will surely take the users in awe

The audio of laptop is of blog standard, as the sounds from the speakers won’t impress you much. You can only expect average sound quality at mid-volume and at high volumes, one can experience some distortion.

The battery holds a great deal of punch. Dell has up the bar for battery capacity to 60 watt-hours from 50 watt-hours. The total output of the battery stands somewhere over three and a half hours.

Final Verdict

Without putting anything to doubt, I can bet any day on Dell XPS 13. By far, this laptop stands out to be the unbeatable machine in its segment and can outperform laptops of higher configuration in terms of performance.
