'Kiss Connectivity': The Future of Data Transfer Technology?

Keyssa, a California based start-up came up with the Kiss connectivity which is the fastest mode of data transfer just with the touch.

Kiss Connectivity

Technology is evolving with the too much pace and once in awhile there is something new  that changes the whole world. Over the two decades, we have observed many technology replacements which totally astonished the human race. From screen touch smartphones to the VR technology, there are number of  advancements that define the new era of the tech-driven world.

There is already numerous enhancement in data transfer technology, but the Keyssa, a California- based startup have taken it to way more futuristic. The startup invented a new way to transfer the data from one smartphone to other more efficiently with a single touch  and named it ‘KIss connectivity’.

What is Kiss Connectivity?

The Kiss connectivity is basically a new form of transferring the data from one hardware device to another just by touching. Keyssa is aimed to create a channel for the data transfer among the devices without any need of port, cables and any other kind of dependency that slow down the process. The Kiss connectivity is the fastest channel to transfer the data between the devices with the speed of 6Gb per second.

How Does it Work?

The kiss connectivity works the same way as NFC technology, but it is much more futuristic and efficient than the NFC. Consider, you need to transfer data from one smartphone to another and both the devices have kiss connectivity chip inbuilt in them. You just have to touche the devices or can say make them ‘kiss’ each other to transfer the data with flash speed. The chip embedded in both device let them connect magnetically and create a channel to transfer the data instantly.

Other uses

Kiss Connectivity isn't only bound to transfer the data from one device to other it also has some other applications. According to the Keyssa below are the devices that can be connected to a mobile device in order to serve a faster way to channelize the things.

  • It can  be connected to a display to stream 4K videos

  • A dock to add keyboard, monitors and storage devices

  • A kiosk to download movies in seconds

  • Another mobile to transfer the data with lightning fast speed.

Why could Kiss Connectivity be the future mode of transferring data?

The technology undoubtedly has the potential to replace all the conventional ways of transferring data. Currently, we have devices which need to be connected via ports and cables to transfer the content. But the Kiss connectivity will relive all the burden from the devices by eliminating the need for the ports and cables and make the devices even more compact. All we need  is to touch the devices nothing else no more plugging-in the port and keep carrying the cables. Along with this, the speed of data transferring is 6 GB per second is something which everyone wants today. The smartphone or device manufacturer only need to embed a single chip in their devices and their devices not become slimmer but also have the fastest mode of transferring the data.

Device Compatibility Till Date

The Kiss Connectivity technology is not much popular yet and most of the people are unaware of this fastest mode of data transfer. The only device which is currently using this technology is Acer Aspire Switch 12 S tablet. Apart from this, there is also news that upcoming smartphones may have the kiss connectivity inbuilt in them to transfer the data.
