Europe's biggest tech show, IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) 2018 is currently going on, and we have already witnessed some of the epic surprises of the tech industry. From the BlackBerry Key2 LE, a cheaper version of the high-end BlackBerry Key2 to Sony's new waterproof speaker, everything is just fantastic.

Amid all these revelations, there is something for Windows users’ too. Yesterday, Microsoft announced the Windows 10 October Update, which was earlier presumed as Redstone 5, the codename designated to the program. Windows 10 is currently the latest operating system for Windows systems. Microsoft was earlier seen testing for its new update through its Windows Insider program, and flawlessly, it has turned out to be the next major update for Windows 10.

If we go by the Redstone 5 testing and research program, there are a new set of features that will come along the new update. The few of the features that will accompany Windows 10 new update include dark File Explorer, Cloud Clipboard, Snipping Tool, new search experience, new game bar, and some additions to the Microsoft Edge.

The dark File Explorer option will help the user to operate the system in the low light environment, which was a much-needed feature in the Windows series. Then comes the virtual clipboard, Cloud Clipboard, that will let the user copy any text on one system and then paste it on the other.

If we consider the Snipping Tool, it will add more punch to image editing. With new options, now the Snipping Tool can be deployed by pressing ALT+Shift+S. After that, you can crop the screenshot as per your requirements. Going forward, Microsoft has also taken care of Cortana which will bring different categories and pick up the lead from where you left last time.

There are other features also, which we will be discussing after getting a detailed insight of the forthcoming update of the Windows 10.

The Redmond based company is all set to roll out the new update for Windows 10 in October. Though Microsoft hasn’t revealed the exact date of the latest update release, still we expect from Microsoft to announce it soon in the coming weeks.

The tech giant is currently working on 19H1, the codename of the next Windows 10, which is expected to be released in the market by April 2019.
