But all these rumors turned out to be just some rumors that were not true. But one source claimed that during the last few months a specific team of Apple engineers has been using these wireless charging pads to lead them towards perfection before the yearly Apple event.

Although, currently there are various Qi wireless charging mats but the hype that Apple has created with its AirPower is impeccable to any other device in the market. Another thing is that AirPower is bigger than most of the charging mats that are currently available.

Another thing that makes Apple's AirPower even more exciting, is their capability to charge other new devices by Apple including Apple AirPods and Watch 3 series within their high-tech case.

As per the experts of the mobile industry, the AirPower is estimated to cost around $150 (USD) and will be soon available to the public. The exact timing of the release is hard to say but with all the heat around AirPower, the release will be soon.
