Xiaomi is again ready to give another trend-setting flagship smartphone after the success of Mi Mix. We are talking about the Xiaomi Mi 7 which is expected to be launched by the company in its upcoming event on 23 May. The upcoming smartphone will have several latest hardware support for the users and will also be composed of the best Xiaomi design ever. There are too many rumors about the phone in the market but there are certain things that have been confirmed by the company already. The in-display fingerprint sensor will be one of them along with the borderless display. Xiaomi Mi 7 Design and Display

For now, the company hasn't released any official image of the Mi 7 yet we are suggesting everything on the basis of leaks and rumors. The design of the phone will be a makeover for the Xiaomi smartphones, it will be a classic pioneer in the looks. The company is moving away from the usual all-metal unibody design to the front and back full glass design. Along with this, the phone will be borderless because of having almost no bezel, that will make it the full-screen phone. The curved edges are perfectly designed with the stainless steel frame to hold the phone for longer without any problem. Xiaomi Mi 7 will be coming with a 5.6 IPS LCD  capacitive touchscreen. According to the rumors, there will be two models, one Mi 7 standard and other will be premium with name Mi 7 Plus. The Plus models are expected to be have a 6-inch OLED display borrowed from Samsung with 18:9 aspect ratio for displaying 2160x1080 pixels resolution. This will make the upcoming phone first one to have the OLED display among all the Xiaomi smartphones. 

Xiaomi Mi 7 Specifications

The specification of the Xiaomi's upcoming flagship smartphone has been moving around in the form of rumors for a long time now. However, there is no official announcement yet but we have a pretty good idea what company will offer. Mi 7 and Mi 7 plus both will be running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset that will be used to power Octa-core 4x2.8 GHz Kryo 385 Gold & 4x1.8 GHz Kryo 385 Silver processor. In addition, there will be an 8GB RAM with two internal storage variant including a 64 GB and 128GB space. There will be a dual rear camera with the 20MP having 2X optical zoom, phase detection autofocus, and a dual LED dual-tone flash. Along with this, you will get an 8MP front camera having the 1080p resolution. In order to provide the everlasting power to the phone, it will have  4480 mAh battery and there are also some rumors suggesting that the Mi 7 will have a 7.5w Qi wireless charging. On the software side, the device will be coming with  Android 8.0 which will be overlayed by the Xiaomi’s MiUI 9.0. On the interesting note, the company has just confirmed that the Mi 7 will be the first one to get the in-display fingerprint sensor. 

Xiaomi Mi 7 Release Date and Price

The Mi 6 was launched by the company in April 2017 and its almost a year to the launch and upgrade for the Mi series is pending. The latest rumours suggest that the company will be launching the Mi 7 in May. Moreover, the company has leaked a poster on its website of the device that points the launch date towards the 23 May event of Xiaomi. For now, there is no information on the Xiaomi Mi 7 price but we expect the price to be $409 and  Mi 7 plus to cost $473.
