It’s the flagship killer as quoted by OnePlus.
OnePlus is quoting it as “flagship killer” that basically indicates that the company has launched its device against the competitors that include Samsung, LG, and others as far as the cost is concerned. OnePlus 6 has a lot to offer to the users be it about the device specification or about the premium features that come wrapped up with the device for the users. The Chinese manufacturer by following the footsteps of other major brands has kept a price that is justified for the product if we look at the devices having similar specifications.
We have earlier glanced at the device to find out these specifications. Talking about other offerings, the all-new glass design is still there with the device that OnePlus phones generally features. Having a 6.3-inch display at the front backed by a mirror black body at the back, the device has all that it requires garnering the attention of the users towards the device. The glass design is something that separates the device from first gen OnePlus mobile phones that were not as sleek as today’s OnePlus offerings.
Here is what Android central quotes about the phone, “The OnePlus 6, despite sharing nearly identical dimensions with its all-metal predecessor, has gained a bit of thickness and a sizeable amount of weight, and that’s owing to its Gorilla Glass 5 housing, a first for the OnePlus series. It looks better than any OnePlus phone to date, for sure, but it also looks quite a lot like quite a few other phones on the market right now, including the LG G7, Huawei P20 Pro and, increasingly, others.”
The phone notch is another significant change that has arrived on the phone, but it does not seem to offer something new or to make the things easier for the users. I personally do not understand the purpose of a design when it doesn’t do any good either to the phone or to the users as well. On the same, the Android Police quotes, “Several Android OEMs have done the notch and completely screwed it up. Devices like the LG G7 have a chin at the bottom in addition to the screen notch, which defeats the purpose. If you’ve got a chin, why not move the screen down and make it symmetrical with small bezels? The OnePlus 6, much to my chagrin, does have a chin. However, it’s a pretty small chin.”
Talking about the camera of OnePlus 6, it features a camera just like any other phone in the similar category. But the catch is the camera has been placed in a vertical set-up. The 16-and 20-megapixel rear cameras are just great when it comes to reviewing the functionality. The flash and fingerprint sensors have been installed under the same to offer ease to the users.
Talking about the performance, the smartphone has again nailed the department and that offers it the full marks. The device runs as smooth as it can to offer exceptional user experience.
For a number of users, the price of the phone is something that a number of users do not seem satisfied with. Of course, the prices for the device are getting higher but the functionality that the phone is offering justifies the same. So, the overall specification for the device from MobileAppDaily is it’s not the best of the recent phone launches but it is an exceptional offering owing to the functionality the phone has. If you are interested in buying the phone, get it here from the company websites at a cost of $529.
