Xiaomi is all set to introduce another market snatching budget-friendly smartphone in India. The company has just launched Redmi S2 this month in China that comprises alluring specifications. After launching the phone in China, Xiaomi is teasing the launch of a new phone in India. The company has revealed a new poster sharing the launch date as 7 June with revealing the upper bezel of the phone that looks similar to the Redmi S2. However, Xiaomi may launch the phone under Y series as in the poster it highlighted the ‘Y’ with red, so we may get Redmi Y2 in India. As the image shows that the phone is Redmi S2 so, we have a pretty good idea what the Indian market will be getting on 7the June. The phone carries an aluminum unibody with glass at the front that is usual Xiaomi’s design for its budget-friendly phones. However, Redmi 2 looks more refined if we compare it to the Redi Y1. The 5.99-inch screen is large enough to match the phone’s design and give it a premium look. The back panel with metal shining seems to be smooth with antenna lined placed at both top and bottom sides of the phone. Xiaomi has reduced the bezel size to enlarge the screen as the overall size of the phone size is same. At the top of the bezel there is a selfies camera with the sensor and at the bottom of the screen, you will see on-screen navigation buttons. Following the recent trend originated with iPhone X, Xiaomi Redmi S2 camera is also placed vertically along with LED flash.
