Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ were among the most awaited releases of this year and it surprisingly disappointed everyone. As the company did not reveal the number of devices sit sold, similar goes for the Samsung Galaxy S9. The company cut down the cost of the smartphone just after the one month of the launch which denotes the same. However, there is another upgrade in the pipeline that every tech enthusiast is waiting for, Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
There were rumours that the Note 9 won't be getting much significant change compared to Galaxy Note 8. Moreover, the latest leaked image of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 proves those rumours right. The image was leaked on Thursday by the Ice Universe, who is known for giving the accurate leaks for the upcoming devices. In addition, some of the reliable sources also suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be similar to its predecessor.
Samsung was lazy in 2018 and I concluded that Note9 will not change much. This is just a small adjustment to Note8. pic.twitter.com/uNoAW1thcT— Ice universe (@UniverseIce) May 8, 2018
The leaked image shows the Galaxy Note 8 with the bigger display as Samsung may narrow down the bezel at the top and bottom of the phone. However, there is no change in the pattern and the design of the phone as many sources suggested. This was the same reason for Samsung Galaxy S9 to get such a low demand. The company haven't done anything in the S9 and kept it similar to the S8, which made people not to upgrade their devices.
However, there were rumors that the company may use the Super AMOLED in Galaxy Note 9 with the Mobile HDR integration. Along with this the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is also rumored to come with the in-display fingerprint sensor instead of the rear positioned sensor to unlock the phone. However, there isn't any strong evidence supporting these rumors, moreover, there were leaks revealing that Samsung is facing issues with the in-display fingerprint technology that may keep the company to hold on the rear position sensor for a while. On the technical specifications, the Galaxy Note 9 is expected to come with some upgrades like 8GB RAM and the next generation Octa-Core chipset.
The image may reveal the unchanged design of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 but we aren't sure about the specs yet. The company may come up with the upgraded specification that will make the Note 9 better iteration than S9. Samsung is expected to launch the Note 9 in August or September which falls into the company’s schedule for launching the Galaxy Note upgrade version every year.
