LG is all set to launch its 2018 flagship smartphone, and the company announced its name officially. LG G7 ThinkQ will be the next smartphone from the company that will compete with the devices from giants like Samsung, Nokia, Asus, and others in 2018. The company was teasing for its upcoming smartphone for a long time now. We have gathered all available information on the LG G7 from various resources for all the tech geeks out there.

Since November 2017 there were regular speculations that LG going to launch the new flagship phone in 2018. However, there was no precise idea when the company going drop the new model. But, recently LG has announced that it will be launching the LG G7 ThinkQ i May. So, yes the company latest flagship Android smartphone will be launched on May 2, 2018, at New York. There is no information about the shipping date of the device, the company did not disclose the time by when the G7 will be available in the stores. According to rumors and reports, the device most probably will hit the market in May last or first week of June. 


LG will be giving a 6 inch IPS LCD screen with 16 M colors support for an alluring display. In order to compete with the high-end smartphones, the G7 will be operating on a Qualcomm 845 snapdragon powerful chipset with 4GB or 6GB  RAM and 64/128GB internal storage. The is was expected from LG as G6 was criticized by most of the users for its outdated 821 Snapdragon chipset. Just after the G6 launch most of the competitors turn to the better processor for the devices and that causes a lot to the G6 sales in 2017. But, this time the company has already prepared with a powerful processor for not repeating the same mistake. LG will be giving a dual lens rear camera of 16MP with a f/1.5 aperture and an 8 MP front camera. There will be a memory card slot, which is expandable up to 400GB and uses the SIM 2 slot. For supporting the device with last longer backup there will be a 3000 mAh non-removable battery. 


Recently some images of LG G7 ThinkQ has been leaked over the internet and it shows how it will look. The images show that the G7 will be coming with iPhone X like notch at the top with all screen display. The plain glass back comprises the dual camera at the top with a flash and the fingerprint sensor. The screen looks amazing with the bezel-less front for giving the notched look to G7. There is a power button on the right side of the phone with volume key and one more button on the left which could be the AI button.
