If you had ever been in a heated conversation with your best pals about Android Vs. iOS argument & you were the one supporting Android, this news actually means a lot to you. A new study has concluded that Android users are more loyal to Android than iOS users are to iOS. And, this concludes your win in that heated up argument that almost broke your friendship in that last conversation.

According to Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP), Android, right now enjoys 91 percent of loyalty rate, which for iOS is 86 percent. The figures represent the percentage surveyed on US customers who remain loyal to their OS in 2017 in order to upgrade their devices to the latest version. This clearly means that Android users adore their OS much more than iOS users love the iOS. This also proves that Android is much better than its all-time competitor iOS.

To be very precise, Android has topped the chart against iOS in the operating system loyalty. And, the scenario has remained similar for over three years now. As per the reports from CIRP, the last time when iOS users were found to be more loyal than Android counterparts was way back in 2014. However, by the end of the year, Android loyalty surpassed and it has remained the same since then.

On the matter, the partner and co-founder of CIRP Mike Levin quoted, “With only two mobile operating systems at this point, it appears users now pick one, learn it, invest in apps and storage, and stick with it. Now, Apple and Google need to figure out how to sell products and services to these loyal customer bases.”

As per the present scenario both the companies are focusing on their services in order to extract larger revenue from their respective clients. For Apple, it is already a win in terms of the financial flow from the services like Apple Music, iCloud, Apple Pay, and App Store. And, for Android, the favorable point is that users can switch to a variety of handsets presently available in the market. Thanks to Android’s distribution of a variety of Manufacturer’s handsets that users are able to find one that genuinely suits their requirement the most.

Today, Android and iOS share more similarities than sheer differences, and it is absolutely a user’s choice to remain loyal or switch to any of the available operating systems as per the preference.
