Snapchat redesign is something that is still struggling for the acceptance of its users even after months of its launch. In order to show their disappointment regarding the redesign, popular platform has started a petition signed by 1.2 million people. Snap has finally responded to the petition and said that the company heard clearly what are they shouting about. The company has released a letter signed by Snapchat team stating that they know ‘how the transformation’ has left many uncomfortable with the service. However, the company also asked the users to have patience and said they will be ‘used to’ of redesign soon.

The Snap’s reply to the’s petition was nothing more than what CEO, Evan Spiegel has been saying since the change. In the letter, the company assured the users that they will be able to adapt the redesign over the time. Moreover, now, users are more connected to their friends with a separate Friends page according to Snap. “By putting everything from your friends in one place, our goal was to make it easier to connect with the people you care about the most. The new Friends page will adapt to you and get smarter over time, reflecting who you’re most likely to be Snapping with at that moment”, the company wrote in the letter. Along with this Snap also mentioned the upcoming update for iOS and Android that will allow the users to personalize the app using different tabs for Friends & Discover based on their interest.

With the reply, Snapchat has clearly mentioned that there is no chance that the company is thinking to take a fall back to the previous design. Last week at Goldman Sachs Internet & Technology Conference, Evan Spiegel said that it took him a couple of months to get used to the redesign and now he feels more attached to the service.

However, Spiegel's assurance didn't seem to be working as Kylie Jenner, popular model and internet sensation has just declared Snapchat dead. The model has tweeted to her 24.5 million followers that she didn't feel like opening Snapchat anymore due to the redesign. Kylie Jenner is a social media personality and influencer, she has 104 million followers on Instagram. Getting this feedback from a celebrity isn't a good expression for Snapchat’s redesign. On the other hand, Snapchat shared that number of users opened the app daily had increased by 5 percent in the Q4 2017.
