Dell Mobile App Connect

Dell, the computer technology firm and one of the largest computer manufacturers is making things more convenient for its users. The company introduced a new app that will connect the smartphones to its computers for messaging and texting. The app will enable the users to get their smartphones notification on the PC or laptop they are using. In addition to this, Dell’s app will also let the users reply to any call or text and mirror the Android’s smartphone’s screen.

In the tech era where almost every work is somehow linked to the computers and most of us spent our major part of the day in front of PC. At the same time the phone’s are also an integral part of our lifestyle and synchronizing them is the ideal situation. Once the Dell’s Mobile Connect app is installed on the PC or laptop, it will synchronize the computer with your smartphone. Whenever a text notification or call comes the app will show that on your computer’s screen. You can also reply the call or message through your computer instantly. Along with this, the fascinating part is that the app can also mirror the Android’s phone screen. This means you pull any of the app’s screen from your phone and use it on your Dell computer’s screen.

However, most of the features of the app are already in use by Microsoft with the help of Cortana. The Cortana synchronizes the notification and calls between phone and computer, but Dell is serving it in a more obvious way without much complications with the help of an app.The software shows every notification including call and text while using the computer. The other thing that distinguishes Dell’s new app from existing products is its compatibility with the iPhones. According to Dell, the app will also be able to show notifications and calls from iPhone, although it is quite surprising while considering Apple’s isolated nature. In case, if the app is able to sync with both Android smartphones and iPhones it will be a huge opportunity for the Dell to make its app popular with a large number of users.

HP is another computer manufacturer that has already deployed the app to synchronize the smartphones with its computer. The app named Phone Wise was launched by HP to provide notification, texting and calling on its computers. However, the app is only available to three business-focused laptops manufactured by HP. The availability of the app to almost all of its users with Android and iOS compatibility provides Dell a huge advantage over its competitors.
