For the travelers across the Southeast Asia, National carrier Singapore Airline(SIA) and the ride-hailing company Grab are coming together. Today, both the services announced to integrate their apps in order to provide travelers a more convenient way to travel across the Southeast Asian countries.
On Tuesday, Singapore Airline and Grab summoned a joint media release where they revealed the integration of Singapore Airline app and Grab app. Following the integration now, SIA customers can book a grab ride 7 days prior to their scheduled flight via SIA’ app. The Grab option will start appearing 7 days before the scheduled flight and choosing it will redirect the customer to the Grab app with the Airport as the default destination.
The First 5000 customers to use this option will be rewarded with a Grab Pay credit worth $10 in their Grab account. The Grab rewards points can also be converted to KrisFlyer miles in SIA app.
The joint action also offers a chance to win a couple of business class tickets to Hong Kong if you are a regular Grab customer. You need to enter the code ‘GRABSQ’ in the promo code section every time you book a ride with Grab in between Oct 9 to Nov 9. The rider with the maximum number of rides in the given duration will get the tickets.
The benefits and the new options will be available for the customers in the countries -Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
