Digital technology when blended with the innovative ideas have no boundaries for the applications. Mobile app technology is not restricted to generating the endless revenue, but also can utilize to make interesting learning for the minors. Nowadays kids are also using the smartphones and tablets by tapping on the interesting stories narrating by the chat fiction apps. If you are not aware of the chat fiction apps, these apps are very much popular among the teens. These apps narrate the stories in a chat interface by replacing the traditional way of story reading.

Amazon Introduces the chat fiction app named Rapid for the age-group 5-12 with the aim of learning and education. The Rapid was launched late last year by the company have children's stories with the necessary learning. Amazon just introduced a new program called ‘signature stories’ which includes stories having the popular TV characters that kids already know. With this new content in the chat fiction app, the company is trying to make it more appealing and engaging for the kids.

The Rapid app didn't make to the top charts in the stores yet as it is categorized in the Education section. The Amazon decided to take the chat fiction app in the education field as there will be no much competition for the app. The target user for the Rapid is the parents looking for trustworthy apps for their kid's learning. Other chat fiction apps like Yarn and Tap are doing great among the teen users.

The new signature stories plan from the company could work as a game changer for the Rapid app. Now the kids can enjoy the story with their favorite TV characters and explore new stories by tapping on the characters. The new program also has the celebrity voice to narrate the stories. The Rapid app allows the kids to see chat type stories along with the audio option and they can also tap on the word to know the correct pronunciation.

The new stories in the Amazon featuring the TV characters from Amazon studios, include the famous ones, “ Danger & Eggs” and “Niko and Sword of Light”. The celebrity Aidy Bryant of Saturday Night Live has given his voice in “Danger & Eggs” and the famous voice of Spongebob Squarepants, Tom Kenny contributed for the “Niko and Sword of Light”. The story's plot is controlled by the writers behind the actual TV shows.

The Rapid is the subscript service which lets the parents control what their kids are watching and keep an eye on their progress with the help of provided dashboard. The service costs $2.99 per month and available on the iOS, Android and Amazon Fire devices.

These characters included by the Rapid app are not much popular as compare to the Disney and other kids character, so it is hard to say whether it will work for Amazon or not. However, the kids experiencing the Amazon Prime video at their home are surely aware of these characters and will tempt to the story learning.
