Google just claimed that its Instant Apps is now available on the 500 million devices across the globe
Android Instant apps, a cloud server for the mobile app execution, built by the Google to enhance the Play Store service is finally out. Google Just announced that it has successfully rolled out the instant app's service to 500 million devices. Google launched the Instant apps idea at this year I/O developer conference and within the two months it reaches out to 500 million devices.
Google has been working on the Instant apps for years to make things easily accessible for the users. Instant apps are the future version of the apps which saves you and your smartphone from the hindrance of the space issue, data consumption, battery usage and much more.
Instant apps are designed in that way that the user doesn't need to download the app on their mobile phones in order to use it. The apps run on the server and the user can directly access the app by opening them in the Play store. Without downloading or installing the apps user can access the main functionalities of the apps which save the user time, mobile data and device storage as well.
In order to make available the Instant apps to all the users across the globe, Google has rolled out the services slowly since the last developer conference. Till now the new way of accessing the apps reaches to 500 million devices along with some major mobile apps. The big service providers from different sectors have enrolled themselves for the instant apps including Vimeo, NYTimes Crossword, Jet, and Retailers.com. Vimeo which is one of the big video streaming platform already maintain 500 million daily visitors. But, the platform gained 130% increment in the numbers of visitors after using the Instant Apps to channel its service. Likewise, the e-commerce platform Jet experienced the 27% of the enhancement in number of users with the Instant Apps. NYTimes Crossword puzzles double its user strength with the help of the new technology of the apps. The property oriented platform Realtor.com has also used the Instant app to break down its heavy native app into smaller modules and the number of leads per page view is almost doubled.
Onefootball, German-based mobile football application garner the 52% hike in the number of users after the integrating the Instant app.
The Instant app services aren't available to all the users yet, but the company is working continuously to multiply the reach of this advancement.
Currently Android Instant apps are available for the the Android devices working on Android 6.0 or above. For the devices supporting 5.x the company is still working to enroll the service for them.
1.Firstly go to the settings of your phone by pulling down the notification bar
2. Then tap the Google option in the list
3. Now look for the Instant app option under the “Services” section in case you didn't find the option either your phone isn't compatible with the feature or its isn't available on your account.
4. Now start the feature by by sliding the toggle and a pop up will come showing details about the Instant apps just tap ‘ Yes, I am in’.
Now you can either go the Google chrome or Play store and search for the apps available in Instant format and use them.
