Delta, the American based airline giant just made flying less-hassle by ditching the most annoying process of flying via plane. The airline cut down the archaic check-in process that keeps troubling the technology-addicted flyers. Now, the company will deliver the boarding pass of the passenger 24 hours prior to their flight via Delta’s mobile app.
The upgrade is available only for the iOS users now and an appreciable change for those who hate the online process of check-in. With the introduction of this feature of automatic check-in, the travelers are spared from the antiquated process.
Delta has become the first airline to ditch the check-in process with this automatic feature. However, some airlines such as Lufthansa and Jet Blue have integrated the automatic check-in feature into their system, but Delta is the first one to integrate it officially. With the help technology, Delta filtered the unnecessary wastage of time for travelers and maybe other airlines will do the same in coming time.
However, still, there are some questions regarding the upgrade, such as what if a passenger wants to change the seat or didn't want to check bags at all? Hopefully, the airline already has prepared for this situation and with time we know the all in and outs of the feature. The time will tell how Delta will manage with those travelers who want to make some last-minute changes. Other than this the addition is beneficial for the travelers as it will make the traveling less painful.
