Mobile apps are the primary targets for every business in the present world. There is nothing other than a smartphone that can grant you the reach over millions of the customers digitally. Almost every sector is using the mobile applications to generate maximum revenue from their business. Gambling sector was the only one which was abandoned by the Google Play Store in many big countries of the world. Google is going to end one of its restriction by accepting the gambling apps from next month. Earlier, Google did not allow gambling apps to enter into the Play store.

Google is one of the leading mobile app platforms that serve millions of users across the globe. For any app maker, it's the primary target to make space in the Google Play store to reach to the millions. The Google has restricted the Gambling apps in the UK, France, and Ireland. According to an email sent to the Gambling operators the company is removing the restrictions will start taking the apps from next month.

Till now the Gambling operators or gaming site have been able to make their app available either by their own or third party channel.

The Gambling operators were unable to use the biggest smartphone platform which holds almost 50% market share across handheld devices in the UK to make their gambling app a new trend. Tech firm from Uk , Degree 53 claimed the Google has taken the decision and Google also said “Most probably from first week of August we will start accepting the submission of the Gambling apps in Play Store to deliver in the UK, France, and the Republic of Ireland and may be more region will add on in the coming time.”

For the developers, it will be a bit longer process than a usual submission as Google will be checking all the documentation including the license for the country they want to target. Google will make sure everything should authenticate before the submission.

Right now Google play Store still states that "We don’t allow content or services that facilitate online gambling, including but not limited to, online casinos, sports betting, lotteries, or games of skill that offer prizes of cash or other value."

This step from the Google is a great opportunity for the gaming operators to integrate the Android platform to their service and reach millions of the gamblers.
