The social media applications seem to not stop enrolling the alluring features for the users. Recently an endless wave of enhancing the service of features via numerous experiment begins. Almost every social media app is putting their new idea on test with the help of beta versions. From WhatsApp to Instagram all are in competition giving the users most accessible and unique way of connecting over the internet.

By continuing the race Twitter just enrolled one more feature for the application regarding DM. Now with the help of this new option, the DM will be filtered according to the following list. Twitter allows the user to message each other via DM(direct message).

 

With this feature, Twitter enabled the user to filter DM from the people not followed by the user. The direct messages from the person who is not following will contain in a request. The request has two option accept or delete so if you wanna read you can go ahead or otherwise you can delete the message.

According to the reports there is an option n the settings to turn on this functionality.If you activated this all the inbound messages will notify you with the option of accepting and delete. The sender will not either user have read the message or not until the user hit the accept.

With the addition of this feature, Twitter is helping both the enterprises and the individual users. Promotional messages from the companies now can be directly deleted without any trouble and the Enterprises will target the users now more precisely.

 

Twitter recently also announced it's coming up with the live broadcasting of the events. Now the company also have talked with the BBC for covering the UK election debate event. By sharing the coverage with the BBC the company is providing a platform to the six major UK election debates. With all these activities Twitter is trying to become wider in terms of service and break the image of one social media platform.

Social platforms are giving a tough fight to each other by coming up with a new feature almost every week. This kind of addition increases the user engagement and keep the user excited about the app and also tempts them to open app frequently.
